Under SAE J2012, P14xx codes cover manufacturer-specific: auxiliary emission controls. Our list has 15 codes in this range. With most of them you can drive gently, but get the car checked soon. Repair prices are listed per cause, depending on make and model. The most common are P1400, P1401, P1403.
